New to poker or keen to sharpen your game? Join our monthly Texas Hold’em crash course in Queanbeyan, designed for beginners and casual players looking to build confidence before hitting the tables.

Held on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, this one-hour session covers everything you need to know to play No Limit Texas Hold’em poker, including:

• Rules of Texas Hold’em
• Hand rankings explained
• Betting structure and table positions
• Beginner poker strategy and decision-making

You’ll also take part in a mock poker tournament, giving you the chance to practise in a relaxed, social setting. If numbers allow, the winner scores free entry into the Tuesday Night Poker tournament straight after.
