From Dani’s family table in Hidalgo, Mexico to ours in The Upperhouse.
Some of Dani’s strongest memories of growing up in Hidalgo are around the family table. There was always plenty of food, her grandmother had a way of seasoning everything just right and family and friends knew they were welcome to pull up a chair.
It was here, cooking alongside her grandmother and parents, that Dani learnt the recipes and flavours she still carries with her today.
Now a chef herself, Dani is bringing them to our next Sunday Table.

From Hidalgo to our Sunday Table
For this lunch, Dani will lead Executive Chef Wayne Alger through the dishes she grew up with, sharing the techniques, flavours and family knowledge passed down to her.
Together, they’ll prepare a Mexican menu inspired by Hidalgo and the food Dani remembers from home. Expect smoky flavours, colourful dishes and a chance to experience a different side of Mexican food, through recipes chosen by Dani because they mean something to her and her family.
Lunch will be served to your table to share, family-style. Pass the plates around, help yourself to a little of everything and go back for the dish you loved.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Is the menu shared with other guests?
No. You’ll be seated with your own group, with the dishes served to your table to share among you.
Is there a time limit?
The 11:30am sitting is limited to two hours so we can accommodate all guests joining us for Sunday Table.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets for Sunday Table are non-refundable.
Do I need to book?
Yes. Bookings are essential.
