ANZAC Day 2026

ANZAC Day is a time to honour and remember everyone who has served our country, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Join us at the Royal Hotel Queanbeyan for a day of remembrance, mateship, and tradition. This year, we’re proud to bring back our Two-Up game in The Upperhouse as one of the highlights of the day.

The Highlight: Two-Up in The Upperhouse Back by popular demand after a hugely successful debut last year, our family-friendly Two-Up returns from 12pm in The Upperhouse. Hear the call of “Come in Spinner” and step into one of ANZAC Day’s most iconic traditions, a game played by Australian troops during WWI and loved by Australians ever since. Whether you’re a seasoned spinner or joining in for the first time, it’s a moment the whole family can share.

Start the Day Right From 6:00am, we’ll be serving a hearty breakfast after the dawn service. A warm feed, good company, and a chance to settle in for the day ahead.

Two-Up from 12pm, family friendly and not to be missed

Churrasco BBQ served throughout the day, a rotating selection of grilled meats carved and served in rolls with gravy

Downstairs in the Bistro

Bistro open from 11:00am

Join us for lunch with bookings recommended.

Live music by Dan Millane from 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Live sport playing throughout the day on the big screens

Meat Raffles with a Cause
All raffle proceeds and donations collected throughout the day will go to RSL LifeCare – Queanbeyan Veteran and Family Hub , supporting local veterans and their families across Queanbeyan and the ACT.
